12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.  ATUR Project Fall 2026 Webinar Series —  New Opportunities for Arizona’s Water Future: Opportunistic Recharge, Urban Runoff, and Extreme Events. The Arizona Tri-University Recharge and Water Reliability Project (ATUR) invites you to join the final webinar of the Fall 2026 Webinar Series, which took place every Monday on Zoom Sept. 14 through October 5. The main goal of the Fall Webinar Series was to help land and water managers, as well as other interested audiences, to understand and use the findings and conclusions of the project report, which was released in June. You can watch the recording of the first overview webinar, "Navigating the ATUR Report,” HERE:  The Arizona Tri-University Recharge and Water Reliability Project (ATUR) is a research project funded by the Arizona Board of Regents at the request of the Arizona Department of Water Resources. The project is focused on identifying opportunities to enhance water supplies through capture of precipitation that would otherwise evaporate. The project has reinforced prior studies that estimated that more than 95% of the water that falls on Arizona’s land surface evaporates, sublimates or transpires through plants before reaching a channel or recharging groundwater. Capturing even a small percentage of this water for groundwater aquifer recharge or direct use could provide additional supplies for Arizona’s communities and ecosystems. More info and Zoom registration HERE:  LOCATION: Webinar only.
