NEW! 5:30 p.m. Prescott Valley Regular Town Council Meeting. Agenda item 10.f. is Effluent Credits for Jasper Parkway Landscape Plan. The Town of Prescott Valley entered into an Effluent Water Auction Agreement (“Agreement”) and a related Effluent Water Auction Escrow Agreement (“Escrow Agreement”) with Water Property Investors (“WPI”) on November 19, 2007. As part of the Agreement, on May 3, 2023, WPI sold 50.0 acre-feet of Credited Effluent to Jasper EcoDev, LLC(AKA Arizona Eco Development). The Town Council is being asked to approve the installation of the automatic irrigation systems to support and maintain the landscaping as outlined in the Landscape Plan for the Jasper Parkway extension. In the AZ Dept. of Water Resources Notice of Intent to Serve, Jasper EcoDev and the Town certify that: (1) they have entered into this agreement whereby the Town agrees to provide sufficient water to satisfy the non-potable water demands of the Jasper Parkway Landscape Plan (based on the requirements of Town Code 13-11-040 that requires installation of automatic irrigation systems of sufficient size and type to support and maintain all living landscaping materials within public right-of-way); and, (2) that well(s) of sufficient capacity either are constructed or will be constructed in a timely manner to serve the Jasper Parkway Landscape Plan groundwater demands on a continuous basis for 100 years. The Town’s commitment to provide sufficient water for the landscaping (8.56 acre-feet) is dependent upon receipt of all necessary payments from EcoDev and/or WPI for the 8.56 acre-feet of Credited Effluent.  Several supporting documents for this agenda item and options for viewing the meeting remotely are in the agenda packet HERE: LOCATION: Council Chambers/Library Auditorium, 7401 E.
