NEW! 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Skywarn Weather Spotter Class. In preparation for this year’s North American Monsoon, the National Weather Service (NWS) would like to train additional Skywarn weather spotters. Spotters are volunteers in the local community who are trained to identify and report severe weather to the NWS. This is an important service because it helps to validate and improve severe thunderstorm and flash flood warnings provided by the NWS. For more information: This email address is being protected from spambots.
