12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.  WRRC Water Webinar: Conjunctive Water Management for Sustainability. Speaker: Randall Hanson, President/Hydrologist, One-Water Hydrologic. Conjunctive Water Management (CWM) is the process of using water from multiple sources for consumptive purposes within a sustainability framework. The planned CWM of all waters has the potential to offer major benefits in terms of economic, social, and environmental outcomes through improved efficiencies and sustainability of water resources. Hanson will discuss how adopting a planned approach results in the greatest potential for the optimal capture, storage, abstraction, and reuse systems of all water sources, which results in a sustainability framework that encompasses the monitoring, analysis, and management of all the water, all the time, everywhere. Randall Hanson was a lead USGS research hydrologist for over 38 years developing hydrologic methods and water-supply analysis of regional watersheds nationally and internationally. He lead the development team for the One-Water version of MODFLOW used for conjunctive water management (CWM), climate-change adaptation, and sustainability analysis. More info & Zoom registration link are HERE: https://wrrc.arizona.edu/events/wrrc-water-webinar-conjunctive-water-management-sustainability  LOCATION: Zoom webinar only.
