5:30 p.m. Prescott Valley Town Council Regular Meeting. Agenda item 10b is a construction contract bid award to Earth Resources Corporation in the amount of $735,790.00 for constructing rainwater harvesting systems for three Town-owned buildings to capture rainwater from rooftops and route the drainage to underground infiltration facilities. The three buildings are (a) the building formerly known as the Wheelhouse, (b) the Prescott Valley Library, and (c) the Prescott Valley Police Station. Agenda  item 10d is a license agreement with Antelope Village, LLC for stormwater recharge and field trials testing of IRIS Technology at Pronghorn Ranch Unit 21. The agenda packet states: "This technology is currently being studied in southern Arizona. But soil conditions in Northern Arizona (including the clays that are part of Prescott Valley soil) are significantly different. If this technology is to be widely used in stormwater projects, testing in Prescott Valley would be a logical next step.” The Town received a WIFA grant  to cover 40% of the project with a loan for the remaining 60%. The meeting agenda with options for remote viewing is posted HERE: LOCATION: Council Chambers/Library Auditorium, 7401 E.
