10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Spring 2026 Drought Interagency Coordinating Group (ICG) Meeting. In person with virtual option. The agenda includes: Drought Status Update & Monitoring Technical Committee Activities; 2026 Weather Outlook from Mark O’Malley, Lead forecaster, National Weather Service, Drought Monitoring Technical Committee Co-chair; Colorado River Water Supply Update from James Heffner, Senior Hydrogeologist, Colorado River Management, Arizona Department of Water Resources; Salt River & Verde River Watersheds Water Supply Update from Stephen Flora, Senior Hydrologist, Salt River Project; and Drought Declaration Recommendation. Based on the presentations and discussion, the ICG will be asked to make a recommendation to the Governor about whether to maintain the Drought Declarations (PCA 99006 and EO 2007-10) currently in place. Read Gov.
