Over 16,000 new homes are slated for the Prescott Active Management Area despite a relentlessly growing overdraft (pumping exceeds aquifer recharge) that depletes our groundwater reserves, decimates Del Rio Springs, drains wells in Williamson Valley and Chino Valley, and threatens the Verde River. Where will the water come from for Jasper, Deep Well, Arizona Eco, and others?
