What are our most important water issues? Are the candidates prepared to set water management policy?

The Citizens Water Advocacy Group hosted its 17th annual forum on water issues on June 26 via Zoom. This year the forum was for Prescott's mayor and 3 seats on city council.

Forum participants discussed a variety of topics including long-range water sustainability, the need for a regional conservation plan, providing city water without annexation, the proposed Big Chino pipeline and its impact on the upper Verde River.  CWAG prepared questions and sent them to the candidates in advance.

CWAG is a local citizens group advocating for a sustainable water future for Prescott and central Yavapai County and for the protection of the upper Verde River.
