There are five council candidates vying for three seats on Prescott City Council:  Henry Ebarb II, Mary Frederickson, Jim Garing, Greg Lazzell, and Jay Ruby. However Greg Lazzell and Henry Ebarb II reported scheduling issues and did not participate. The two candidates competing to be our mayor are Brandon Montoya and Cathey Rusing.

The candidates were asked to discuss Prescott water issues and priorities, water policy, the proposed Big Chino pipeline (do we need it, who will pay and more), long-range water planning, water quality, conservation and more. The questions and background information documents were be sent to the candidates in advance. There was also time for many audience questions.
