This program, hosted jointly by the Citizens Water Advocacy Group (CWAG) and the Prescott Valley Citizens Alliance (PVCA), provided an opportunity for Prescott Valley citizens to learn the current status of groundwater, Prescott Valley's only water supply.
Groundwater pumping in the region exceeds recharge, resulting in overdraft. How does the overdraft affect homeowners and the Verde River? How long will our water last? What are the solutions? These questions, as well as questions from the audience, were explored during the presentation.
