Learn everything you need to know about rainwater harvesting! Nicole Parks, Sustainable Built Environments Project Manager for Watershed Management Group, covered the basics of active and passive rainwater harvesting, the best practices, and the context to understand why these practices are important to support native vegetation and our waterways. Her presentation included audience Q&A. City of Prescott Water Resources Project Manager Tracie Beasley was also at our meeting to answer your questions about the city's rainwater harvesting and other conservation rebates.
Note: we had technical problems (unstable wireless signal). Our recording froze up with no sound several times during the program. However, Nicole's slides advanced even when the sound & live image was frozen. We tried to trim the first 3:23 but the Vimeo trim tool did not work.
You can step through the frozen parts of the video while looking at the slides with your right cursor key. Video & audio was frozen for first 15:39 with occasional ~1/10 sec. bursts of sound. At 26:00 to 29:39 the video & audio froze again. Then it froze @ 101:00 to 103:23 then again @ 101:00 to 103:23, 113:56 to 123:08, 128:18 to 141:23 and 144:26 to end of recording.
